Most funerals are held within a week of passing. However, we can work to your timeline. We appreciate other factors may influence the timing of the service, such as those travelling from out of town. We can care for your loved one until you’re ready.
Yes, you can. We honour every story and encourage families to personalise the service to represent the personality and values of their loved one. From music and flowers to the type of service, we’re here to help you say goodbye in whatever way feels most appropriate for you and your family.
Most of our locations have an on-site chapel which you’re welcome to use – the cost is included in our fee. However, you do not need to hold the service in our chapel. We have organised services in churches, parks, beaches and a wide range of alternative venues. We’ll work with you to plan a funeral that reflects your loved one's wishes.

At most of our locations, services can be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person on the day. We will also provide you with a link to a private online archive so you can rewatch it if you wish.

There’s no set timeframe. Some gatherings run for an hour, while others continue for an afternoon. We’ll help plan a gathering that suits your family, venue and preferences.
Yes. Through our partner, Guardian Plan, you can pay upfront or make a 30% deposit and then monthly instalments over 12, 24 or 36 months. Any remaining balance is settled when the funeral is arranged.
If you move, your plan can usually be transferred to another provider within our nationwide network. We can help update the location of your service. Simply let us know if your circumstances change.
Not at all. You can plan as much or as little as you wish. Whether you’d like to record every detail or simply outline your preferences, we’ll note your wishes and honour them later.
Your funds are securely held until the funeral is carried out. They are invested by the Over Fifty Guardian Friendly Society Limited, which uses expert investment managers and is regulated by APRA.
When the time comes, your family simply contacts the funeral director named in your plan. We’ll guide them through the next steps and ensure everything is arranged according to your wishes.
